Rehasense Track Wheel

Rehasense's new carbon Track Wheel can be quickly attached to most manual wheelchairs, lifting the front castor wheels off the ground and allowing you to traverse rougher ground.

Product Description

The Rehasense Track Wheel is a modern front-wheel attachment, featuring a sleek carbon fibre frame that not only looks good - it also keeps the weight down to just 2.6 kg (4.6 kg for double arm version), the lightest on the market.

It clips easily onto the front of your wheelchair - either the single arm attachment for rigid framed chairs, or the (more expensive) double arm attachment for folding wheelchairs. This then lifts your front castor wheels off the ground, letting you enjoy a smooth driving experience even on bumpy ground.

The large 12 inch front wheel features a pneumatic tyre for enhanced comfort, as well as an anti-flutter fork to ensure your wheelchair tracks true.

Our Verdict

Rehasense's Track Wheel is an obvious competitor to the FreeWheel, which was considered the pioneering model of front wheel attachment. Both are good products; we recommend the Track Wheel for its weight savings and more competitive price point.
