The Pride Go Go Endurance Li Mobility Scooter is a modern version of the pioneering Apex Rapid scooter from Pride Mobility. It comes as standard with an 8 Ah lithium battery pack that weighs just 3.5 kg and is airline compliant. You can upgrade to a high-capacity 16 Ah battery for a longer range of up to 13.2 miles - an impressive distance for a boot scooter.
Your Go Go Endurance Li dismantles easily to fit in the back of a car, making it the ideal travel companion, and far easier to lift than a scooter with a heavy traditional AGM battery.
Full suspension at both the front and back axles means the Endurance provides a smooth, comfortable ride, evening out the bumps in the pavement. A choice of seat sizes is available - either the standard 17.5 inch seat that fits most people, or a wide 20 inch seat for larger people, who also benefit from the Endurance's 23 stone weight capacity.
The controls are simple to use, and the scooter features an ergonomic delta tiller with wraparound handlebars. Charging can either be done directly to the battery box - great if you want to charge the batteries indoors away from the scooter, or to the high-mount port on the tiller - ideal for those that struggle to bend down.
The Go Go Endurance Li comes standard with two sets of shroud accent panels - matte "Garnet red", and "Euro grey", allowing you to personalise your scooter.
Our Verdict
We think the Go Go Endurance Li offers an obvious step up from standard boot scooters like the Apex Rapid and Zest, which have much heavier battery packs - people often struggle to lift these. However, for the ultimate in lightweight travel convenience, aluminium framed scooters such as Pride's Apex Alumalite Plus, and Motion Healthcare's Alumina are the best choice as they are far lighter to lift. However, the Endurance is significantly cheaper - offering a good balance between value and convenience.
