Motion Healthcare Aura Mobility Scooters

The Motion Healthcare Aura 4mph mobility scooter offers a comfortable seat, an aluminium frame, robustness, portability and adjustable features. The Aura comes with a 5-year warranty for a lasting and convenient mobility companion.

Product Description

Motion Healthcare has built on the success of the hugely popular Airium by offering this great aluminium and lithium scooter. Crafted with precision, the Aura boasts an aluminium chassis that optimizes robustness and strength without compromising on weight.

Equipped with a long-lasting lithium battery (weighing just 2.6kg), the Aura provides an impressive range of just over 21 miles, offering an extended travel capability without having to worry about running out of charge.

The enhanced comfort and support features include large pneumatic wheels, rear suspension and a well-upholstered, swivelling Captain's seat, ensuring smooth, comfortable rides. It has a more substantial feel compared to many transportable rivals. The frame is longer than the Airium but with the slightly tighter turning radius of 137cm and 4.5cm ground clearance, it handles equally well in urban areas. The delta tiller is adjustable, allowing users to into their most comfortable driving position.

It copes well across various terrains, with large wheels and a lightweight design, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It can be disassembled for transportation into 6 parts, offering enhanced portability if you need to travel and stow it in a car boot. The 5-year warranty guarantees your scooter for years, reassuring your travels.

Our Verdict

We think the Aura presents a great travel option in many areas. It's a smooth comfortable ride, feels stable and substantially lightweight. It's very similar to the Airium but the Aura's seating, pneumatic tyres and significantly lighter battery could edge it for some. You might also consider steel-framed equivalents such as TGA's Zest Plus and Pride's Revo 2.0, but the Aura is much easier to lift.
