Ki Mobility Focus CR Wheelchair

Ki Mobility's Focus is their most advanced model of tilt in space wheelchair, a high end product offering 50° of tilt and able to cater to the most complex seating requirements.

Product Description

Tilt in Space

The Ki Mobility Focus CR Wheelchair features the highest level of tilt available, with 50°, ideal for those most at risk of pressure issues. The unique tilt mechanism provides a smooth motion, and can be locked in place at the desired angle. Your choice of either hand tilt (which can be on the right, left or both sides) or foot lever-operated tilt (right or left side) is available, ensuring it matches the preferences of caregivers. A powered tilt function is also available if desired, allowing the wheelchair user to operate it themselves.

Complex Seating

People with the most advanced postural and pressure care requirements will find that the Focus is the ideal base to meet their needs. Highly adaptable in size - in small increments - the seating is fully configurable, with everything from backrests to cushions, a wide selection of legrests, headrests, armrests and more able to be fitted.

This includes both Ki's range - with the Axiom backrests and cushions smartly designed for the Focus - but also third party seating solutions. We supply a wide variety, from Matrx backrests to Roho cushions, Jay seating accessories to Whitmyer headrests and Stealth positioning components. The Focus is also able to accommodate moulded seating, and is our recommended base for those requiring a moulded seat tilt in space wheelchair.

The modular design of the Focus allows it to be adapted as time goes by to accommodate changing needs. This also includes changing the seating size, with impressive ranges of seat widths, depths and heights available. The 28.5 stone weight capacity means that heavier people can use the Focus in comfort, with seat sizes up to 24 x 22 inches.

The reclining backrest option is a popular upgrade, able to lie back up to 85°. When combined with tilt and elevating legrests, it allows you to lie nearly flat in a relaxed position ideal for resting.

Other Features

Other elements of the Focus can be configured for your convenience. It works well with powerpacks such as TGA's Duo HD, which attach to the lower frame and help to ease the strain of pushing.

The spring-loaded anti-tips are a well-designed feature, and can be flipped up easily out of the way with your feet - no need to bend down and fiddle awkwardly with them. Both vent and battery trays are available as options on the Focus for those that require them.

Either self-propelled or transit wheels can be fitted to the Focus, and drum brakes are a popular upgrade. Adjustable stroller handles offer a convenient and comfortable way of pushing the Focus, even when it is tilted.

Finally, the bold frame is available in a choice of 19 colours, allowing you to personalise your Focus to match your style.
