Tilt and Recline Powerchair Hire

Our Tilt and Recline Powerchair offers advanced seating functions at an affordable price. The ability to tilt the seat helps with pressure relief, while the recline and elevating leg rests combine to allow you to lie back and relax in your wheelchair. This powered wheelchair offers good performance both indoors and out.

Product Description

We selected the Pride Fusion as our Tilt and Recline powerchair - an impressive performer that comes with a number of advanced features normally only found in much more expensive wheelchairs.

The seating on the Fusion is a step above that of our Mid-Wheel Drive Powerchair, and the seat width and depth can be adjusted to fit the user. Other adjustments can be made to the Fusion, including the height of the armrests and the width of the leg rests. This allows it to provide a better fit than standard powerchairs that have limited adjustment, although it doesn't have the same level of precision to its fit as our Advanced Configurable Powerchair, which is designed for all-day use.

Designed for use both inside and out, the Fusion's rear-wheel drive excels outdoors, giving it the torque and power necessary to get the wheelchair user around, while rear suspension keeps them comfortable. The larger footprint of the chair and rear-wheel drive does make it less manoeuvrable indoors than our Mid-Wheel Drive Powerchair, however it can get around all but the most compact indoor environments.

The Tilt and Recline Powerchair offers good value for the advanced seating functions available on it, and is the ideal hire solution for those needing powered tilt or powered recline on their powerchair.

Hire Service

We offer a flexible hire service that is ideal for those who are not sure how long they will need a powered wheelchair for, or who are trying one out before purchasing. The minimum hire period is just two weeks, and payment is then taken on a fortnightly rolling basis until you return your equipment.

While hiring from us, your powerchair is covered by our inclusive repair or replace service: if you experience a problem within our service catchment area of London and the South East of England, our trained technicians will come out to either repair the powerchair on-site, or replace it with another. Our powerchairs are also fully insured within the UK.

Please note our short term hire powerchairs may only be used within Mainland UK.

Try Before You Buy

Buying a powerchair for the first time can be a daunting experience. The range of different types of wheelchair can be bewildering, so the opportunity to try one out before committing to buying offers you peace of mind by ensuring that you have the right equipment for your needs.
