Power Base
The Quickie Q300 R Mini Powrchair features an incredibly narrow base for a performance rear-wheel drive powerchair with prescriptive seating. At just 55 cm, it's as narrow as you get for this type of powerchair, meaning it overcomes the traditional limitation of rear-wheel drive, which is manoeuvring around indoors. The compact footprint means it can navigate tight turns and narrow corridors, whether at home, the office, or out shopping.
Despite its narrow width, the Q300 R Mini features the same rear wheel design as its bigger brother, the Q300 R, meaning it is no slouch outdoors. It features impressive traction, punchy motors, a top speed of up to 6 mph, and a range of up to 20 miles on a single charge.
Sedeo Lite Seating
Sunrise Medical's Sedeo Lite seating is featured on the Q300 R Mini. This means you can fully customise your powerchair with powered seating options such as lift, tilt, recline and elevating legrests - few powerchairs of this size have all of these options.
Appearance
With its black tyres and components, the Q300 R Mini is a modern looking powerchair. A choice of five shroud colours (black, red, blue, yellow, purple) and seven accent colours (black, white, silver, red, blue, green, orange) lets you customise your powerchair to match your style, whether that be a subtle all-black, or something brighter.
Our Verdict
For those after the narrowest and most manoeuvrable prescriptive powerchair, the Q300 M Mini is generally the better choice - it has a 52cm base, and mid-wheel drive turns much better than rear-wheel drive. However, if your preference is for rear-wheel drive, and you want a compact fully prescriptive powerchair, then the Q300 R Mini is a great choice.
