eFoldi Powerchair

The eFoldi Powerchair is the lightest folding powerchair in our range, weighing just 15 kg. It folds up with ease, and is fully airline compliant, making it the ultimate powered wheelchair for travel and transport.

Product Description

eFoldi's Powerchair is by far the lightest model in our range - it weighs 15 kg total, or 14 kg with the light Lithium-ion batteries removed. It is incredibly easy to fold - while we have found some folding powerchairs to have fiddly mechanisms that take time to get used to, the eFoldi is simple and intuitive.

Powered by Lithium-ion batteries, the eFoldi has a range of 8 miles before it needs recharging, and a top speed of 4 mph. While some light folding powerchairs have limited outdoor performance, the eFoldi has decent sized wheels that allow it to be used comfortably outside.

The seating is well-padded, breathable, making it comfortable to sit in. The eFoldi is a smartly designed powerchair with a clean, minimalistic and monochrome style to it.

A standout feature is the integrated attendant control mounted on the backrest, allowing a family member or carer to control the wheelchair if required.

Our Verdict

The eFoldi is more expensive than other folding powerchairs in our range, but really justifies that extra cost. We suggest trying it alongside the Q50 R Carbon, which is marginally heavier, but with a more modern carbon fibre frame.
