Convaid Rodeo Wheelchair

The Convaid Rodeo is a pediatric tilt-in-space buggy that is convenient, lightweight and folds compactly into a single neat unit. Packed with practical features it comes in 2 frame options (with and without seating) and accommodates aftermarket and extensive seating needs.

Product Description

The Convaid Rodeo Wheelchair from Etac features tilt-in-space seating, a recline function, an easily folding frame, and various support options, making it a versatile and convenient solution for children. The stroller is known for its best-in-class design, lightweight construction and compact folding, providing ease of use and promoting participation in daily activities for children with mobility needs.

Stroller base

The base is versatile and supportive offering a combination of positioning, comfort, and portability features. Support options include height-adjustable flip-up armrests, a one-piece angular adjustable footplate and a range of accessories to enhance comfort and positioning.

It comes in multiple sizes (10", 12", 14", 16") with weight capacities running from 34kg to 77kg and various positioning accessories such as a headrest extension, foot positioners, and elevating legrests, to accommodate growth and provide a tailored fit for your child. The Cordura upholstery, well-known for its durability, abrasion resistance and washability comes in a variety of colours adding scope for a personal touch.

Transportation

The Rodeo is lightweight (the various model size weights range from 15kg to 18kg), compact, and easy to fold, making it extremely practical to transport and store. The folding mechanism allows the whole chair, including seating, to fold into a tight package that fits in the boot of most cars. And it also includes a transit anchor bracket, allowing it to be secured in a bus or van.

Seating

There's lots of flexibility with the seating to ensure your child is safe, secure and comfortable in the stroller. It's available in multiple seat widths and depths, allowing for a customized fit to accommodate the child's size and positioning needs as they grow. Designed with safety and comfort in mind the Rodeo features a 5-point positioning belt and a headrest extension.

The buggy provides 5° to 45° of adjustable tilt-in space, allowing for optimal positioning and pressure relief. It also offers a range of recline angles (90° - 110°) allowing variance in the seat-to-back angle and providing additional comfort and positioning options.

The lateral thoracic supports are a great feature to maintain midline positioning of your child's trunk, promoting stability and proper alignment.

Our Verdict

We think the Convaid Rodeo presents a great combination of stability, safety and versatility. The tilt-in space and recline features are impressive and we especially like the lateral thoracic supports to enhance your child's comfort and support.
