Pride's Go Chair is the model we picked as our indoor powerchair. Its highly compact footprint and tight turning circle lets it manoeuvre around your household or a care home, managing tight turnings and narrow corridors without issue. The small size also helps with storage, as your wheelchair will tuck neatly out of the way when not in use.

The basic seat is comfortable to sit on, and ideal for those without any postural or pressure requirements. The armrests can be width-adjusted depending on the size of the user, and the weight capacity is an impressive 21.5 stone.

The large battery ensures our Compact Indoor Powerchair should last the day, while handy storage pockets mounted under the seat allow you to carry your belongings around with you.

While the Go Chair is occasionally seen being driven outside on pavements, its small wheels and lack of suspension mean that we would only recommend it for indoor use. Easy to disassemble, it can be taken apart much like a boot scooter, meaning it can be lifted into the back of a car for transport - this allows it to be taken on trips to shopping centres for example.

Our Compact Indoor Powerchair has a modern and stylish look; a breath of fresh air compared with more traditionally styled models - for friends or relatives who may be reluctant to use a powered wheelchair for the first time, this can sometimes make all the difference.
